Now in it’s 5th year, the Best of Both Sides Festival began as an excuse to throw a week long party but has grown in to more than that. It is now a celebration of not just 4 days off work, but of what makes Melbourne so great. By reaching out to our fine cities’ sub-culture elite and challenging them to put together their dream parties using our festival as a platform, we’re ensuring that you (the punter) get 14 different events, each different and unique.

And what’s best about all of this? IT’S FREE! 😉

Number 8… a very lucky number. And yes, we are feeling very lucky. T-Rek is in the house. He has been rockin out in the studio cutting some new tracks which we can’t wait to hear. Combo! are back and this time we will be recording. They played a wicked set for us a few months ago but someone left the recorder at home…NICK! Sophia Sin will be sharing her love from behind the decks. It will be her last set in Melbourne before jetting off to Berlin for some music time there…lucky lady! See ya at the club x

Suckmusic welcomes Melbourne based artist Sub:Divide to the label. The Flavour EP is an exploration of Tech House elements…tasting a little like San Fran label Dirtybird. The three tracks cut to the chase in the rhythm & bass department. The production is complimented by plenty of melodic development and great use of dynamics within the structure of each song, all to often forgotten within the tech genre.
